Gene Glick has always believed in giving back to the community. In addition to the company's commitment to providing top quality-housing for people of all income levels, he and his wife, Marilyn, established the Glick Foundation in 1982 to channel their philanthropic giving.

Children's causes and education represent a significant share of the Foundation's activities. This focus is epitomized by the Pro 100 program, a summer work /education program for economically disadvantaged youths. This successful endeavor has been recognized by Purdue University and The Community Service Council of Metropolitan Indianapolis.

The Glick Foundation has supported many other important organizations, including:

• Glick Eye Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine
• Indianapolis Cultural Trail
• Indianapolis Art Center
• Second Helpings
• Children's Bureau of Indianapolis
• Indiana Society to Prevent Blindness
• Wells Scholars program at Indiana University
• Indianapolis Museum of Art
• Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra
• Riley Children's Hospital
• United Way

In recognition of the Glicks' extensive philanthropy, they have received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indiana Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
