Q: What is your title at the Gene B. Glick Company?
A: Property Manager

Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: It will be two years on February 2, 2020.

Q: What brought you to Glick? Why did you want to work here?
A: I have worked in the housing industry for more than 20 years, and Glick has always been one of the top-respected multifamily companies talked about within this industry. I came to Glick to be a part of the positive change that this company has been and is still making in the housing industry and the community.

Q: What has kept you here?
A: What has kept me here is seeing the positive leadership and caring Glick displays to its employees and throughout its communities. My staff also plays a big part in this.

Q: How do you describe your role to friends and family?
A: My role does not stop at overseeing all operations of the property — but mostly includes doing my part to improve the community, striving to be better and caring about the needs of all the residents.

Q: Why is your role/the work you do at Glick important?
A: I truly believe one of my purposes on this earth is to serve, which includes giving others the care, dignity and respect they deserve as well as encouraging and helping direct them toward self-sufficiency.

Q: What part(s) of your job do you like the most?
A: Being able to see a smile on someone’s face when they receive the keys to their first home. I also like making a positive difference and serving the community through the many events and programs offered at the Resident Success Center.

Q: What has surprised you the most about working at Glick?
A: After hearing about Glick for so many years and then becoming an employee, this company is true to its reputation in supporting and investing in employees, leading in customer service and investing in communities throughout the United States.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Family time is everything to me.

Q: What would surprise Glick team members about you?
A: I have taken up boxing, and I love the sport. I am also the co-chair of my church’s 5,000-member homeless ministry.

Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
A: 1. Egypt 2. African Safari

Q: Do you have a bucket list and if so, what is on it?
A: Buying a beautiful mobile home and traveling across America.

Q: Do you live life by any certain motto or philosophy?
A: “As long as you put God first, everything else will fall into place.”

Q: Is there anything about yourself that you would like to add?
A: Walking in my purpose is my daily mission.

Q: What makes Glick unique compared to previous companies where you have worked?
A: Glick is what the example of leadership in the housing industry should be. Enhancing every experience is not just talk; it’s action!

    I have known Gloria all her life. She is my wonderful daughter. She has always excelled wherever she has worked. Gloria really enjoy helping people. You have a great person on your staff. She is one with great leadership abilities, and take pride in what she do.
